I only had 24 hours in Paris on a stopover to Croatia, and I would give anything to take a trip back! Perfect excuse to skip school.
I still managed to squeeze in more than I thought and see many of the major famous sites. This city is like an Instagram dream come true, you can’t throw a rock and not hit a beautiful site!
Museum’s are not usually the first on my “to see” list, but seriously, don’t miss The Musee d’Orsay, it’s so amazing, you can see it in a short couple of hours, and you will recognize so many famous impressionistic artists and artwork. This is the perfect museum for teens if you have to be dragged to one, you’ll actually like it!
Blow your parent’s mind and give them 2 super hot, restaurant trip tips –
For lunch, Le Cafe Marly is the only restaurant that has the ideal location of looking right out onto The most exceptional view of the Louvre and it’s pyramids. Beautiful design, great food, but sit on the terrace for the view and some pretty interesting people watching – possibly more selfie taking than the Kardashian’s!
For dinner – Another famous view restaurant is Monsieur Bleu. It’s so pretty, a super cool spot across the street from The Seine River and walking distance to the Eiffel tower and carousel. The perfect time to see the tower is at night when the lights start to twinkle for five minutes every hour on the hour all night until dawn. It’s funny, it’s the most stressful five minutes ever when you’re rushing to grab your phone and squeeze in all of those great photos and Snapchats before the lights stop!
I’m already planning what to see and do when I go back, like the helicopter trip to Versailles and a trip to Disneyland Paris…and….and…!
