Acres with rows of flowers from vibrant colors of yellow, pink, red, orange, to eggshell white, just waiting for someone to take a selfie with them. A truly stunning sight to see at the Carlsbad Flower Fields in San Diego. At the Flower Fields, you get to have the feeling of a super bloom without the hundreds of people stomping through the newly grown flowers. I got perfect shots with the endless flowers without destroying them. However, there are those who clearly will do anything for the perfect Insta photo by hopping into the flower beds. No worry for our beautiful friends though because there are constant golf cart patrollers making sure that the flowers are pretty and protected.
The fields are spread out and the flowers cover a lot of land which means a lot of walking, so if you get tired there are also arts and crafts stations, a mini cafe, and sitting areas with a clear view of the fields. There’s even a flower themed playground for little kids.
Travel Tip: The Flower Fields are only open from March 1st- May 12th from 9 am to 6 pm daily. Get ready to get your photo game on!
