The perfect way to spend time on a Saturday? At the Museum of Neon Art in Glendale, CA. I’d been dying to check it out for awhile, and it did not disappoint! Most of the art pieces are interactive mechanical sculptures that have buttons or levers to turn on or move the sculptures. It’s a bizarre and fun place to take friends, family, or even a date.
The museum is small, so you can get through it pretty quickly in about 30-45 mins, and is located across the street from the Americana at Brand shopping and entertainment complex, so it’s a great artsy addition to an afternoon of shopping, dining, or movie going. There is even a cute gift shop where you can buy objects that have the artwork on them such as pencil cases, journal books, mini neon lights, and other great trinkets and gifts. So go check it out for yourself!
@museumofneonart -open from 12-5pm Wed- Sun.
